I’m Olivia Ruffin, MS, LPC, a licensed therapist based in Pennsylvania.
You’ve spent so much of your life holding it all together. On the outside, you’re seen as capable, dependable, and successful — but inside, it’s different. You’re tired from overthinking, stretched thin by expectations, and silently wondering if what you’re doing is ever enough.
You’ve learned how to push through and keep showing up, but deep down, you’re craving something else: space to breathe, clarity around who you are beneath the roles you’ve had to play, and a life that feels more balanced and whole.
That’s where I come in. I help high-achieving women who look like they have it all figured out but are quietly carrying the weight of anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and constant self-doubt. Many of my clients are navigating major life transitions — stepping into new roles, adjusting to shifting relationships, or realizing they’ve lost touch with the version of themselves they most want to be.
I get how heavy that can feel — and how isolating it is to always be the one everyone leans on while quietly thinking, “But who’s showing up for me?”
In our work together, therapy becomes your space — a place where you don’t have to perform, explain, or hold it all together. I’ll meet you with warmth, cultural awareness, and compassion, creating a partnership where we explore what’s been keeping you stuck and gently work toward lasting change. Together, we’ll untangle old patterns, quiet the mental noise, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels most grounded and whole.
My approach combines evidence-based practices — including EMDR, DBT, and mindfulness — with a deep respect for your story and what makes you unique. Every session is tailored to you and your goals, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
Before starting my private practice, I spent years supporting women through stress, trauma, and life transitions in both community-based and clinical settings. Those experiences taught me that healing doesn’t happen by doing more — it happens when we finally feel seen, supported, and connected.
I truly love what I do and consider it an honor to walk alongside the women I work with. You don’t have to carry this alone anymore. If you’re ready to pause, breathe, and create space for yourself, I’d be honored to walk with you.
What I specialize in
-
You lie awake at night replaying the day, imagining worst-case scenarios, or worrying if you’ve let someone down. Even when you’re exhausted, your brain won’t switch off. Sometimes your body feels like it’s buzzing with nerves, other times it completely shuts down. Learn more
-
Change, even when it’s positive, can feel overwhelming. Starting college, stepping into a new career, becoming a parent, or navigating loss can all stir up worry, self-doubt, and a sense of being unsteady. Learn More
-
Self-compassion might sound like a fluffy buzzword, but it’s far from it. Despite what you may think, it’s actually the key to your calm. It’s the shift that helps you quiet the inner critic, stop measuring your worth by what you achieve, and finally treat yourself with the same care you show everyone else. Self-compassion isn’t about lowering your standards—it’s about finding peace within yourself so you don’t burn out trying to prove you’re enough. Learn More
-
Healthy relationships aren’t just about avoiding conflict—they’re about feeling safe, valued, and truly seen. It means learning to set boundaries without guilt, speak your needs with confidence, and build connections that feel supportive instead of draining. When you start honoring yourself, your relationships naturally grow stronger and more balanced. Learn More

What Therapy Feels Like With Me
Our sessions are collaborative, steady, and paced at your comfort level. This is a space where you can finally exhale. You don’t have to prove anything here. We’ll focus on what’s real for you—your emotions, your goals, your story—and take steps toward creating the kind of life that feels balanced and authentic.

How I Support You
-
Start by Naming What’s Heavy
We’ll begin by getting clear on what’s been weighing you down—whether it’s anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck in overthinking. You don’t have to minimize it or explain it away here. This is where you can finally name it—and let yourself be supported through it.
-
Integrate What Heals You
I’ll support you in building tools that help you feel more grounded, intentional, and steady. This part of therapy is about showing up as your full self and trusting that it’s enough. Growth becomes part of your everyday life as your choices begin to reflect your healing, not just old patterns.
-
Live What You’ve Learned
You’ve done the work to understand what’s been getting in the way. Now, therapy starts to show up in real life. You respond differently. You care for yourself with more honesty. You feel more present, more clear. This is where change becomes lived—not perfect, but real, steady, and fully yours.
